Judith Blocking Issues?
I'm noticing Judith takes a long time to block after finishing an attack combo, like a full two seconds, long enough to be counter attacked, which sort of kills the point, haha.

Is there some weapon skill that decreases the time it takes to shift from attacking to blocking that I'm forgetting?

I know there's going to be a "Judith should spend her whole time comboing in the air!"

> yeah. I know that. but until you get combo 4 and combo 5, your altered arts, all your aerial artes skills, etc, then you cant use basic, altered, arcane artes in air, cant roll and shift back and forth in air, and cant spend enough time properly in it.

I don't play Judith enough to know her well. But she's an agile character. Maybe isntead of blocking try free run cancelling thing.

There's also a skill that allows Judith to block in midair.

Yeah, but her mid air combos don't come until later in the game, because it requires a lot of the right weapon skills in order to fully utilize that potential.

Of course once you do have all those skills, she can basically spent the entire fight in the air if you know her well enough.

I'm not good at the free run cancel thing, though my issue is doing anything after comboing, since she tends to stay put afterward. Wonder Symbol wont work because that applies to mages and spells.

Also, can Judith Critical Guard while in mid air?

there are some artes that have long animations/recovery even with canceling. Alot of mid/top tier artes get cancel by blocking in right moment or cancel into other arte, but yeah you might want to check if you use one of those artes as finisher.

I know yuris destruction field / crushing eagle outside of OVL have terrible recovery even with free run cancel.

Alot of artes tend to become better / able to cancel with more uses, like 200-300.
