How the hell do u make a debugging station?

1st time playing, chose standard mode.

Repaired antenna & checked steering wheel.

Next it says " make a debugging station " and points towards the device to do it with.

You go into it and the debugging station is blank? There is a blue print for a drill but not a station.

Wtf am I missing :/

It's under equipment / tools in the workbench. You'll need two metal and one wire to make it, but it makes a scrapper as a joke and you hit the communication station with it.

I have flown all over, am not getting how to find wire. I went to a few sparks, and used the chicken to stop the sparks, but no wire (which is where the game encyclopedia tells me where to go). I feel really stupid at this point. I need more help.

I can't seem to get wire. When I neutralise the wire there is nothing to collect.

The sparking wire that you can neutralize isn't the one you need to go to, that one is just cosmetic and doesn't serve any purpose other than to hurt you if you get too close or pee on it. I don't know how to explain it, but the wire you are looking for looks a little bit different. Maybe check out this video:

There are plenty of these wires among the wreckage everywhere, more wire than you will need.

Thanks @morph113, I would never have flown that far to find that at the beginning. I was pretty conservative for how far I thought I could make it and return.

I get a feeling there are going to be a lot more of these posts here and on reddit. That was feedback in early access a lot of people were getting stuck at that and other points.

im having this same issue i have teh mats the task is asking me to create a debugger station but i dont have the blueprint...

checked a couple of other posts said to check the steering wheel nothing is interactable atleast not differing from what others have played

Troll developers.... also do note there's a star in the processor (workbench) next to any new blueprints you get.

There is wire just a few seconds from the starting shuttle. Go towards the wreck you first see - you will find some frayed 'wire' you can collect in the jagged ends of the wreck.

Big sections of the game really require that you explore everything, you're gonna miss a bunch of important and useful stuff if you only follow marker prompts.
