wont install

hi I'm new to pc gaming so this might be a stupid question.
when I click the newly downloaded game. it try's to install. from there it just says installing directx 1 of 1. then stops and gives me a error code. it says missing components directx runtime. any advice would be appreciated

it literally means you don't have the required component "DirectX Runtime".

Download and install it from microsoft, link below:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=35

Or search "DirectX Runtime download" on search engine. Download only from Microsoft domain
