Stuck at the beginning of chapter 4

So, I started chapter 4 and went straight to the station marked. I need some gel to craft a dome, but I did not bring a magnetic key and also I don't have aluminum to craft it. I can't go out of that station and I don't see aluminum anywhere. What do I do now ?

Never mind, I found aluminum... exactly the right amount needed. What happens if I craft something else without knowing and then save de game ? :V

You should find everything you need a couple of times over. There are very few items which use the same components so it would be hard but I don't think not impossible to use those resources for the wrong things.

Build suitcases in the normandy and grab everything.

The game after chapter 4 is just a grind running in S shape rooms just to make the player waste more time and make sure you have all the tools or you just have to go back to the ship and walk walk walk.

More or less yes, that's the final however many hours it takes you to finish the game, there's no more floating through space on your own, unlimited oxygen is provided in the ships you're exploring and all the resources are placed along your path. It's a different game.

Im stuck in the jail cell trying to figure out what to do with the robots pincer.

Im taking my time, coming and going over and over in the stupid stations of chapter 4, gathering every piece of material there is and I have the feeling that it all will be for nothing... like when I builded and stocked my base and then jumped away :V

in the next cell over you can break the brackets holding that cell's door shut, check at the top of the cell door

We need to pick up the blaster and claw. And then use a blaster to shoot off 2 loops at the top of the adjacent grate.
