Not responding

The game crashes right after the intro video, I've tried to reinstall the game, updated GPU drivers, disableling overlay and running as admin.

Same problem, i just kill it the first time with task manager. Then restart and after about 5 mins, the black screen will respond. Its annoying but it works.

I'm having the same problem. Right after the Chickens in the theater opening and it fades to black, it stops responding.
This problem started happening for me right after the Leia Center update. I've reinstalled my drivers, verified steam installation, and even deleted the game completely for a fresh install. Still nothing.

i just got the game yesterday and it happened only once then worked fine once i closed and rebooted that night but this morning i tried to run it and it refuses.
so i don't think its related to drivers or anything like that it has to be the game itself

I think it's the game itself. And believe it or not, it works. After all intros play, just let it run, it has obnoxiously long loading time.

This happened to me and thought it was crashing. I tried it a 3rd time and went to the bathroom and came back and it loaded. I retried and I can confirm that it just takes a ton of time to load. And here I am with a 3080ti..

that may be so but im sorry but if i have to wait 30+ min for a game i bought to load. under any circumstance is unacceptable. even FTD or subnautica isn't more than 5 min load time and its got a lot of content. fortunately they released patch today that seems to have fixed the issue.

This may have to do with the recent update that came out because when I played this the week it launched I never experienced anything like this and the game ran flawless, and was well worth the price if you are into Subnautica or anything like that
