Open A couple Of Coffins

So i was on this quest and my game crashed. Because of this crash my quest is now STUCK there, no matter how many coffins i open or where i float around to.

Is there a way to force this quest forward?

Arr, try loading the auto save if it still be there.

Sadly I'm way past that point. I didn't realize the quest wasn't working until maybe an hour or so after the next stage should have been triggered. :(

I actually didn't think to do that at the time, and now I'm without a PC for a bit

What, that's a lot of crashing! I've never encountered a crash as of yet... and I have an old Alienware Alpha i3.

That said, I'm sorry you guys lost all your progress... but to on the bright side, you only have to open 3 coffins... Not 200, to finish the quest. :)

could you imagine opening all of them as the quest
i still some times get tapes from them but it just says location already found
bit odd
