Joke item, just like the large penis structure you built
this game is a damn meme and a joke itself.

I had a good laugh for like a solid 2 hours. Then the humour got repetitive and boring very quickly

Oh, so it's literally just garbage. It requires huge amounts of rare resources, is advertised as radiation protection equipment, and it's garbage.

hahahahahaha rage quit. I'm done. After 7+ hours, they haven't given me a building tool of any kind, an O2 extender past the time that I can hold my breath IRL, or a movement enhancing item that exceeds my speed on a bicycle IRL. You gotta throw me a bone at some point.

I'm used to modern games making jokes at my expense, but this game is straight up calling me an idiot for spending my money on it. You got me: I'm an idiot, I'll keep an eye out so I can avoid buying anything from these devs again. Fool me once.

RedRuins Softworks, and HypeTrain Digital. Got it

7+ hours and you didn't find the Dispenser (build tool) the damaged rocket bike? Were you bothering at all to look at anything, or did you skim past it all?
Yes, the helmet is a joke item, but lead paint is not rare - the first paint wreck has a lot of both paint and lead, and there are multiple smaller paint wrecks.

There are progressively better boosters and air tanks, and multiple vehicles, one of which is free (albeit damaged) when you find it.
Make sure you approach everything that looks out of place. Most unlockable items will trigger the AI to speak about it when you get close, which is a cue that something is there. This includes corpses that seemed to have died in some strange way or another (usually not a free-floating corpse) Most of your suit upgrades are found on corpses.
Later on you will get tools to help you find hidden items. Unlocking coffins will give codes that will create HUD icons for undiscovered items.
The freezing regions have heating lamps scattered around to help prevent ice buildup, and later you get a suit that makes you immune.
After Chapter 1 finishes, you should be close to the path for the build tool and first vehicle. You'll be going inside a large cluster of asteroids, like a cave. You can find both near the end of this cave.
Broken oxygen stations that are found in the world require a repair tool, but give infinite oxygen when repaired.
There are junk ball spawn points that contain random resources and will respawn regularly.
Pissing in the toilet (hold F) will give you a random resource once the meter is full. This costs water.
Don't be too stingy with Oxygen candles. There is a larger version that fills 200 o2 and are found all over the place. Save a few of the basic ones for crafting.
Water bottles and food are found in abundance, don't spend too much time gathering and crafting them.
When you get deeper into the map, most zones of note have some sort of safe place to refill oxygen. You won't need to place oxygen stations later on. In fact, they become completely unnecessary long before you finish chapter 2.

This is a game that requires patience... a LOT of it and also the ability to accept that you might not be good at it. Not everyone has either or both of those requirements so this game is not a game for everyone even if you have played other games that looks kinda like it, concept-wise.

it´s just not fun when you constantly have to hurry and cannot look around for even 10 seconds. Subnautica is awesome because you can enjoy the scenery, this game here could have been so much better, but devs didn´t want a pleasing experience for their players and as others stated above, their humor gets stale quickly and they shove you the middle finger constantly when you are out exploring because in the year 2075 nobody came up with a descent space suit that uses 20th century technology.
NASA spent however many millions inventing an instrument that you can write in space with. Russia took a pencil.

In the far side of the world they do things differently. Don't question it. Adapt.

Devs - Whatever you do with your next game if your going for a punchline, copy the masters and follow the British. Don't go down the Marty McFly route.

I agree, the game is fun but after a while, it gets boring, and there is so many things to do that you end doing nothing because the game fills the screen with icons and tasks that you barely know that they are primary or secondary and there is no way to shut them down...
I found the bicycle, even the construction thing and the car but, I didnt manage how to build a base or how to craft the car...
So many resources in the world, I got 3 containers full of garbage in every possible engineer spaceship or wathever they are called.
I dont know, this game is well made but, no so much...

seems you have no idea about survival games at all. the person below you gave enough reply to you in detail. but maybe you should not play games like this. seems exploring and patience isn´t something for you.

+7 hours being clueless... :lunar2019crylaughingpig: the upgrade is literally meters away to get more oxygen. you also don´t just have 30 seconds to explore...

don´t blame the game if you don´t get it and have 0 patience.

Fun fact about that: NASA didn't use pencils because they use graphite, and graphite particles had a chance to short the sensitive equipment. Today, all space agencies use the special pens instead of pencils for this exact reason.

Fkng hilarious
Starting chapter 2 and I still love this game :) Yep I'm Russian )))
There was a game called G.A.G. in nineties, looks like the Breathedge team took inspiration from there.
