I'd like to know who the hell buys/builds a suitcase for the purpose of placing it somewhere and then storing stuff in it, while not being able to move it. It wouldn't bother me if there were at least some kind of witty joke/reason for this, but the game doesn't even try to explain this.
I totally agree that we should be able to pick the damn thing up - WITH stuff in it - and at least carry it in one of our hands or something. Then either chuck it on the ground in the new destination, or put it on the roof racks of the Zaz (which doesn't have roof racks, but it really should for just this purpose!).
This would be less annoying if we weren't literally in ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SPACE, where (apart from areas where there's gravity), there is no gravity, so we should really be able to at least I dunno, push the suitcase in a direction and then it keeps going until it hits something. THAT would be cool, it would be relatively innovative (since I don't recall a similar kind of thing in a similar kind of game), and it would make sense.
But I guess what can we expect from a game where all space has vast amounts of friction for unexplained reasons? (we should technically be able to travel really far on a small spurt of propulsion, instead of having to continually apply thrust).
I like the roof rack idea btw. That would be very useful.
