Windows 10 Home 64-bit
Intel Core i9
32 GB RAM
Z390 Aorus Ultra-CF Motherboard
Geforce RTX 2080 Ti
Games run from 1 TB SSD
i played the game last saturday, and had no problem at all.
But thanks for the reply, i can try to figure out whats going on.
if i find any tips or advice, i,m going to inform you.
i will head for google first, And get back to you.
But for now, Could you try to turn off your virusscanner?
or atleast turn off the in-depth scan?
try if you can start the game, once you have done that.
let me know if it has worked.
Here are my specs:
Windows 10 Professional 64-bit
AMD Ryzen 9 3900X
32 GB RAM
Asus ROG Strix X570-E Gaming ATX Motherboard
Geforce RTX 2080 Ti
Windows and my Games, All run from a 2 TB SSD
it has got to be something else. i,m thinking about something for you to try, But first let me know how my first tip worked out for you. i keep an eye on this topic, and didnt forget about you. Carona is affecting us all.
i have 3 more options you could try, Dispite they might not add any value.
But maybe it does something, That could help.
i,m still working on option 3, But you can try option 1 and 2 if you like.
Option 1:
Once you installed Windows 10, its offering you to use a program named: "ARMOURY CRATE".
install and run that program, And click in the lower right corner on "Download And Install"
it should download, And for that reason update any outdated hardware drivers.
if nothing happends when you click on that button, You already have the latest drivers.
Dont confuse this with the updates from Windows 10 itself, This is seperated and more into depth.
Option 2:
On your desktop, Press the Windows key + R.
Now type: msconfig And click on "OK".
Now click on the tab "Boot", And than click on: "Advanced Options"
Now mark the box on the left of the text: "Number of processors".
Now click on the dropdown menu below it, and select the highest number.
Now click on: "OK" and than on: "Apply".
Now click on: "OK" again, And restart your PC.
Once you have rebooted your PC, All cores from your CPU are now active.
By default some core are "Parked", And could give problems.
in my case, i would only be able to run Gta 5 for less than 10 minutes before i got the BSOD screen. Realy took me some time to figure out what whas going on.
Let me know if something worked, And i,m going to inform you about option 3 as soon as i can.
Could take some time, As i need to translate some words.
Most people just start any game, And adjust the videocard settings. But if you would start playing, your videocard is only doing its job for about 50% from what it could do. And yes, You can use Nvidea Geforce Experience for the optimal settings. But i use custom settings, And do allot of research on google about what sertain settings do. So if you whant, i can still share them with you at some point. But its at your own risk, And i would have told you that anyway. Let me know.
