Intro Sequence Crash

I've tried to play this game about 8 times now and the game freezes after you tell the story the second time after the shuttle explodes. I right click and the game does the cutscene again and goes to a loading screen where it stops responding. I'd really like some help here, been itching to play the game.

That loading screen is very very long. Try to just sit on it a while longer. It might be that you are just thinking that it has frozen, while actually its just loading really long.

Have you had any luck resolving this issue? I left mine on the black loading screen for about 30 minutes and... nothing.

I'm experiencing the same thing! I've tried different graphic settings, resolutions, clearing cache, reinstalling etc. but nothing does the trick. I even tried the BETA 'Test1' version but it was the same with that one too.

My Windows 10 install and GPU drivers are up to date and otherwise working fine.

Really want to play this one!

i am haveing the same thing robot is freezeing the game in the intro any help?

Was there any updates on this one? I have the very same problem and tried a lot of things but i cant seem to get trough this bug.

Same as Highfist. I constantly CTD on opening scene. Can not progress at all.

you guys tried checking the integrity of your game files and also update your driver and all that?

but you guys are having a trouble earlier than me, i assume your pc is able to run the game? maybe if you try a new install

I have the same issues. At various stages the game crashes. Main menu, intro sequence start or at the robot.

I'm running it on a week old system. Intel I7-11700F, 32GB PC4000, RTX3600Ti, and on a SSD. Hopefully that can run this LOL :)

I was able to progress further by skipping the intro, but the game CTD after I stared at the poor chicken when I tried to reach for something after removing the chicken from the gas line.

Well, i've fixed my game by clearing all the logs files and trying it in administrator mode, apparently it could write but when the loading kicked in, couldn't read the files of the start of the game. I also got some file online. but keep in mind that the loading between the intro cutscene and the playable part is extra long

Im crashing in the menu system, multiple times now and unable to get into the game.

Edit: So i kind of got into the game, up until the robot you're dragged towards, then it crashed again.
