CHAPTER 1: How many aluminum are there?

I am redoing chapter 1 with an eye to playing chapters 2 and 3 for the first time. I haven't played it in a long time though. I have upgraded my suit and helmet and built two air stations. only one is in direct line to the chapter 2 start though. (the other is in the lead paint area). I have two more air stations built and ready but I've run out of aluminum and my memory is i need more. I've been looking about for aluminum to mine, but I am having trouble finding any. I am concerned that there might not BE any more.

Is there any more aluminum? Is there a list of amounts and locations anywhere?

Start the game in free mode, build a vacuum cleaner and fly around the neighborhood.
There are aluminum on the rocks, where there is a man on a horse, next to two players crushed by the TV and in other places.

well, even without creative, you just need to look for it, you're gonna need to look for things a lot in next chapted so you need to get used to it. There's more than enought ressources to complete the game, and still more extras, and that goes for most ressources ^^

If you're desperate the small floating 200hp asteroids hold 1 aluminium and they respawn so it's infinite. Tedious to gather that way but useful if you've run out of drill deposits.

I didn't find a drill blueprint yet and all asteroids are gone already. How long do I need to wait until they respawn?

if you are having trouble finding aluminum, turn shadows down to "low" in the settings, which disables dynamic shadows and turns on global illumination, along with view distance to epic, you can spot mineral nodes from 100+ meters away if you are seeing the face of the rock it is on.

Everything you need is within reach as you progress, so there's no need really yo hoard things.
