It is on the meteors. Looks a bit like wires sticking out of the rock. You can gather it with a grabber.

again, it's pretty much on most asteroids, not everywhere, but most area you can see from a debris/shuttle you should be able to find spots on the asteroids ^^

try and check small asteroids and in the Knight Errand Gun wreck there are some debris that have like balls of trash stuck to their surface (not many) that after broken with the scrapper they might have some in them.

Well as soon as I got the infinite scrapper I prefer to use it to break down anything but bots, cause the tool will never break, whereas the blaster once it reaches 0 power, breaks and you need to build another one.
