So mods from servers auto delete themselves?
I havent played for a while and noticed that all the mods you need to play on a modded server are automatically downloaded.

This I find to be pretty neat. But I also noticed all the custom maps I downloaded from the server were gone once I restarted the game.

So are mods just temp files unless you download them yourself from Steam Workshop?

Either way, I also find that to be pretty useful. Though, does this mean I have to keep redownloading the mod everytime I join the same moded server?

The autodownloading system is storing them in the Workshops section of the drive that the game is installed in, and yes after a certain period of time Steam will clean that out automatically (not sure that we can change that). That being said, if you want to retain any mods, you can always just subscribe to it on the Workshop and then you will just retain them no matter what.

Thanks. Are there plans for an in-game mod management menu of some kind?

Yes, a mod manager is planned, although I am unsure when or how exactly it will work (for instance it might wind up being external vs internal), but it is something that we would like to include for sure.

(ii)re-download fully, then simply unsubscribe ....
