Bots in the new update
I was wondering, lads, if the bots are getting new settings for this next update so that we can stop them from being so 'ninja' in the shooting department :) ?

For example, basic bot settings such as:

# Recruit
# Experienced
# Veteran

Trying to capture points in singleplayer mode can be torture at times :) .

Not for the next update, no, however that is something that we want to do. The next update will contain the recent overhaul we did though, so they will behave differently than they do now and shouldn't feel that way as much anymore.

The bots are now broken, at one location they all just stand and do nothing, at another location they run in a crowd, do not disperse on the map, meet in the center with the same crowd of the enemy and shoot in one place.

Are you playing on the Dev Build or on the main branch of the game?

Edit: Also are you playing on a vanilla map, or is it a modded map? Need more information to be able to assess this.

The main, clean game, there are no mods and DLC.

The Lam dong map launched with bots 16/16 bots are standing still. I started it again, for the other side, the same thing, I'm running, the rest are standing.

Khafji map previously, allies were plausibly and evenly distributed across the map, skirmishes occurred in different places. Now they run in a bunch to the center of the map, meet the enemy there, who also came running in a bunch, exchange fire, spawned again and run the same way...

So just as a reminder the last update to the main branch was June 1st, so nothing has changed since then that would have broken them all of a sudden. Most likely this is a level design issue.

That being said, the current bots are different on the Dev Build and they have received a rather substantial overhaul, so we are not too concerned with issues with the bots on the main branch right now as that is no longer really relevant. We still occasionally see some issues like this on the new ones, but it has been quite rare in our testing and again usually related to level design.

I last launched the game in late March - early April. There were no such problems then.
But thanks for the advice, I'll try to switch to Dev Build.
