Insurgency Sandstorm Mod
Someone should make one. It will be a good replacement for that game.

If you want it, you can make it.

Theres 1 problem. Idk how to mod.

Hate to break it to you but community is way too small for such a big mod. It would take months for someone to do a mod like that by themselves unless they have infinite free time. I would start learning how to mod if you want something like that.

You could still try to keep the experience. Adding sound effects from insurgency itself, tweaking the recoil and adding hold breath function into the game.

I'm already jumping onto this from sandstorm, this would be very great. The game's nearing the end, whoever is running the thing now is abandoning it, in my opinion.

No the game itself sucks. You cant even choose your own team. And they dont have a steam workshop.

Yeah they have mod support from Mod.io but it's pretty dead. Sandstorm itself is one of the best shooters on the market and has by far the best gunplay of any modern video game. Not sure why you'd opt to play this over that honestly
Yea I mainly like to stick with 1 team for the whole match and not have to choose a new weapon class every 10 min.

I don't follow you, what game are you referring to? Both games have this problem lmfao
Lol it was game modes like push and frontline where they put u on another team each round. I like to stay with one team specifically the security forces xD

Yes, still some of the best gunplay currently which they've continued to dumb down over the years. Movement speed increased, recoil reduced, features straight-up removed and the servers are going further downhill without fix as time goes.

True. You are right about the gun play its one of the best we ever had in an FPS game.

Because this is free and controlled by the community, rather than a game company.

That means it can become good (the community makes it how they want), remain good (no company changing their minds and introducing bad changes, like bad monetization), and be accessible to a lot of players even if they can't afford to buy games (perfect for introducing friends to a new game too).

I’d say that’s what the op saying is they wantInsurgency gunplay movement in this maps settings for this game

Being a long time insurgency player I’ve had mixed feeling about this game so far and want something to bridge the two as well. I will say the delta force cs phoenix mod server I’ve been playing g with really show cased what the game could be for me tonight and suggest more people check out the servers with these mods for pvp

I've migrated from Insurgency as well, and I think it has a lot of advantages over Operation Harsh Doorstop, the game play is just superior, a great balance between SIM and arcade IMHO. I think someone mentioned this earlier, that it's not about revamping the whole game, but instead just tweaked to have better gun play, match tempo and better sound effects would go a long way. The Casual Field mod is great compared to the Vanilla game but goes too far the other way, and turns this into a run and gun. I'll give the Delta Force mod a try.
