Can't start the game

Every time I boot up the crooked man a green bar comes across the game window saying "save data is corrupted. Save data has been renamed". Is this a common bug? I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it did nothing. It's only the crooked man game doing this, all the other strange men games on my laptop work just fine. I verified the game's files several times and checked that my antivirus wasn't blocking it from working. Still nothing.
