A bug that has been troubling me a long time is that sometimes I can't take a Steam screenshot ingame. Goes normal when pausing by pressing Esc and resume but it is good to fix that

I originally posted this report as its own thread, but hadn't gotten an official word on if it was intended or a bug. Sorry in advance if this was already addressed elsewhere and I missed it, but it's been bugging me for a bit now.

In an attempt to turn Meta-14 into a flag. I ended up with a solution that felt really cheap.

What I did was form the sentence "Level is melt and flag". This of course destroyed the level because "lava is hot" and lead to a failure state, so I undid the move that formed the sentence, moved elsewhere, and suddenly the screen transitioned and the level turned into a flag.

I'm pretty sure this is unintended because in similar scenarios where a failure state overpowers a victory, you don't achieve victory just by undoing."

Some of the responses pointed out that you don't even have to undo to make this happen, and that simply waiting a turn will also trigger it. Either way, it feels wrong because in either scenario, the rule that would turn the level into a flag no longer exists.

Receiving the following error when I click on Settings:

Lua error: Data/Editor/editor_menudata.lua:222: attempt to perform arithmetic on a nil value

In Meta-12, attempting to undo multiple times after spawning a Baba and a text at the same time on the bottom right causes "Data/undo.lua:247: attempt to index a nil value (local 'unit')". Trying to undo does nothing when this error is shown.

Wrote "WALL IS WORD" on "Automated Doors" then pushed NOT above it, so it became "NOT [WALL] WALL IS WORD." The game started making the rule made/destroyed noises really fast. No idea why this would happen, since NOT and then two nouns shouldn't be a valid rule...?

Hmm, actually, could you post a screenshot of the setup for the bug?

Whenever my game lags a bit, generally because either I have something else running on my computer, or I'm resizing the window, I'll get one or two short (like 1/10th of a second long), piercingly loud bursts of static.

Whenever I start the game, a media player I've never seen before starts playing 2 voice lines on repeat. If I exit the media player it keeps looping until I shut down steam.exe

As of March 27 hotfix 3, there's a game hardlocking bug in ???-12 (Ultimate Maze). If you get two flags stacked on top of one another, then use that as the right-hand side in an IS expression (e.g. HEDGE IS FLAG) with two flags on top of one another, this locks up the game as, presumably, the game first decides that a hedge has to be two flags, then the hedge that used to be on the left side transforms, and then there's four separate rules of FLAG1 IS FLAG1, FLAG1 IS FLAG2, FLAG2 IS FLAG1, FLAG2 IS FLAG2, and this blows up exponentially into an infinite number of flags.

I'm not sure what the "right" way would be of handling this situation but I'm sure you can think of something. :)

In the level "Babas Are You" (6.3) the ICE IS WIN condition failed to activate horizontally here? I later completed the level by forming ICE IS WIN vertically instead. Can't see a reason why horizontally shouldn't work.

Steps to reproduce:
1. D3 L5 U1 L2 D1 R2 D1 L1 (ROCK IS EMPTY)
2. R12 D13 R1 U8 R1 U1 L7 (ICE IS WIN fails to activate)

Edit: Appears to have been fixed by hotfix on 2019-03-29.

when I play chasm-7,game is frozen after making "NOT wall WALL IS WORD".
I try several times ,it doesn't seem to go well.

a question, since it's related to one of the updates:
so i did Getting Together by having rock and wall propel themselves to one side using shift and getting everything to overlap that way. however, now the text block simply wouldn't want to overlap with Baba -- managing to get Baba on Wall, Baba, Rock and Flag but not Text. is this intended behavior to quash unintended solution (meaning i haven't figured out the true solution) or is it something else?
