Save Slot C broken?

I want to say that I'm not a fan of this game's decision to swap save slots randomly, but it gets REALLY bad when it swaps to slot C, and the game is no longer able to be loaded from the saved file. Especially bad, since apparently the game stops swapping once it starts saving on Slot C, and I've already lost over a week in game to the bug.

EDIT: So, this is interesting. I didn't have to delete the CURRENT save, just ONE of the saves. Still, that CAN'T be intended.
