Game Crash?

I just bought the game. I'm able to do the beginning where you let in 5 guests with a golden ticket. The screen then goes black and what sounds like a crash and sirens happen. The screen stays black and it will not let me do anything. Does anyone know what's going on and why I can't play the game? I've tried launching it different ways and waiting it out and nothing happens.
