Report a translation problem
Both of these are actually known, but they've not been things I've ever been able to fix. Charlie's inability to equip the Terrible Power seems to be caused by his Dual-Wielding mechanic, but exactly why that is or how to fix it has never materialised in testing.
The second bug can happen in quite a few specific moments in the game (associated with changing the graphic of the player characters in battle), but is very, very rare and inconsistent - usually only happening once or twice in a playthrough. This is another case where I've looked into it for years, but neither I or the programmer could figure out what causes it, because it's so inconsistent.
With all that said, I really appreciate you letting me know. Unfortunately, they're a couple of white whales as far as bug fixes go XD
