May I ask if there's any significance to "The Baz" outside of this game? I'd never heard of him before I played this.

He was a rejected Street Fighter 2 character design that, after being brought back under the spotlight by Super Best Friends Play in the pilot episode of their old "Fighterpedia" series ( https://youtu.be/tsCN7bkvL_k ), was subsequently added in Shovel Knight, Divekick, Indivisible, Pocket Rumble and Parkour Kartay (with a cameo as a bonus palette swap for Beowulf in Lab Zero's hit fighting game, Skullgirls), often through kickstarter pledges by SBFP's Matt himself.

He's a cool guy, and i found his inclusion surprising considering the Best Friends have never touched the game on video nor talked about it (as far as i know).

Fair enough, although i wholeheartedly reccommend checking out the Super Best Friends' youtube channel, especially now that they're starting the Detroit LP: you might be able to get in there just in time for some top quality mental breakdowns caused by David Cage's trash writing!
