Crash 3 Rings of Power

is there an easier way to deal with this level?
At this rate, the last gem and the relic for rings of power I'm thinking about just giving up on.

Look at YT walkthrough from GarlandTheGreat (average skill playthrough no speedrun record). There is maneuver flip by [Circle] button as I remember. Doing it during going through Ring speed you up. Doing it at every Ring's increase speed boost by increased multiplier.

It is Plane racing level, right?

Correct, and the last level in the game. There are a couple of rings that are easy to miss due to their positions and how the plane turns. Those are generally the ones I have issues on. I mean I have 105% right now as RoP only has the relic and the racing gem to go, but it would be nice to actually complete it all.

I believe once I figured out how to utilize the break/slowdown function, the stage became smooth. Try it out after each ring.
