Ok, Body Slam
What's the actual difference, like, the actual enhancement, between the standard one from Crash 2 and first 5 levels of crash 3 to the Super body Slam power up?

Because in Crash 2 we could already break reinforced crates, and on the first 5 levels on Crash 3 we don't find reinforced crates to test it weather we could or not break them.

On a side note, I actually tried to break them on Crash 3, but turns out the game won't let me, oddly enough.
There's a command line option to boot the game into any level you want, and I choose level 6 that have reinforced crates, but Crash itself won't spawn. But regardless, booting the game like that gives you 107% and all powers.

As for Crash 3 on the PS1, I gamesharked to "walk thru walls" and as soon as you enter a level you'll get all the power ups you're supposed to have, automatically.
So again, the game won't let me test this.

In some levels in crash 2, you have a little brain test with the body slam and some reinforced crates. Turns out, with a standard body slam, you can only break a column of three reinforced crates. In these brain test, you actually have to make a super jump to access the pile of four reinforced crates by the top so you can break them.

The super body slam removes that limit and add a shockwave, allowing you to break crate without touching them (it's used in some advanced level before you gain the bazooka)

Hmm, but then why there's no reinforced crates on the first levels for C3.

Also, what advanced levels you're talking about? Because I'm sure that in one of the ruin levels (ruination or road to ruin, no sure which) there's a 4x4 wall of reinforced crates with one missing to allow you to crouch jump.

And you can break the 4 crates in a 2x4 pattern
