Why isn't there a PC port for CTR: Nitrofueled?
It's been over a year, what gives?

It's sad to see CTR die so early.
You thought that was bad enough, Team Sonic Racing, which came out at around the same time as CTR Nitro Fuelled, died even faster. In fact, it was literally dead at launch with barely anybody playing online.

At least the legacy of the original PS1 version of CTR will continue to live on forever to this day, and that is entirely offline, back when games didn't have micro-transactions or rely on online features to make a game enjoyable.
That mostly because most of the Sonic fams are crappy f***ers that were not happy with Sonic All Stars Racing Transformed (and it is awesome and imho much better than Mario Kart 8), but still most of them wanted Team Sonic Racing (that is not bad at all) to be SART 2 with better graphics (and still you can check many of these guys can not even run the game at max quality, but still they wanted even more graphics quality from TSR) and this playerbase bashed and killed the game from start, if not before the start.

I wonder what will happen when Crash 4 is announced on PC and Switch? as Spyro Reignited Trilogy was (very likely it is the same), knowing that most of us would love to see CTR NF come out here.

Probably, IF they ever do it, IF ... they will announce it when the vast majority of PC and Switch players completely lost interest (be it because of feeling pissed off at the exclusion decision, be it because they already found similar games at PC or Switch and ditched CTR for good or be it because they already played at emulators because they understood it would never come to PC/Switch) ... and then, releasing after players completely lost interest, the publisher will dare to say: "See, I was right of not releasing it for PC and Switch after all".
