FPS maxed out at 45 on Steam Deck?
Was trying to play Crash on my new Steam Deck OLED. But it only gives me 30 and 45 FPS for framerate options, which is weird because I keep finding discussions online about how the game can do 60 FPS on Steam Deck.

Is there any way I can enable it, any specific settings I need to play around with?

Okay, never mind...

I don't know what I did differently, but when I quit out of the game and came back, now it gives me 30 and 60 as options.

I want to say that maybe changing the resolution to 720p instead of 800, plus enabling fullscreen instead of windowed might have done it? Was also hearing that fur blur needed to be turned off.

Hope this helps anyone having the same problem.

I'm trying to play the game and I can't... it slows down a lot and crashes... I've read other comments with the same problem and no matter what I do I can't find a solution.. I have windows 11 I've changed the graphics to high resolution and whatever setting and doing nothing changes... does anyone know what I should do?

I’m having the same problem as OP. It doesn’t give me the option to shoot for 60. Only 30 and 45.

Set Shadows in "high". Done 60 fps even trough 45 appears. Steam Deck Oled here
Bit late to the party, but I found that turning on "disable frame limit" and then setting the refresh rate to "60hz" in the steam deck performance settings, followed by changing the "Display Mode" to "Fullscreen" inside the games graphic settings, the 60 fps settings becomes available 👍

(Steam deck OLED)
