Is there any way to skip a level?

I'm on the Road to Nowhere (Sky bridge) level and I've lost about 100 lives trying it. I cannot judge the distance between the planks on the bridge. I got there with 40 lives spare but because I lost them all and got game over, I have to play it over with only 3 lives and it's too hard. Can I skip this any way?

the ridiculous part about it, is that you're supposed to run on the side ropes of the bridge, not jump from plank to plank.
Crash games wanna be difficult but they're just a toxic waste of time imo.

You could use a save-editor.

Most certainly it was not intentional in the original and they just kept it.
it can help with some parts of the level.

Crash what? Casual easy game. Just a bit harder than Crash 2-3 and Spyro.

And no, it not supposed. There is a shadow and you should better control your jumps. It is very easy levels. You can fail few tryies accidently catch turtles hits, but fall...?

I'm personally play also with KB (rebind it from default and I don't use mouse). But maybe for you better with gamepad... For everyone better with gamepad. Maybe you fall cause of KB or cause of KB+mouse? I did play original on psxfin emulator also with KB, so I have such experience.

Practice running and jumping onto the side ropes. I was able to get a Platinum on that level by doing that (around 52 seconds if we're talking about the same level, I know there are 2 levels like that with the bridge). I never learned the intended way of doing things because the platforming in these games is atrocious.

It's also been confirmed that this game does not keep the same jumping physics as the original so some jumps can be impossible to complete towards the end if you don't jump off the turtle at the very edge of the platform.

Just do yourself a favor and use the cheese method because its faster and easier than fighting against the bad camera and bad physics.

It's just a straight line with timed jumps where sometimes you have to hold A/X all the way and others just do a short press. I don't see whats so complicated about it.
For the platinum relic using the ropes a little is justified cuz i don't trust turtles.

if you really want to skip the level you can download wemod to enable no gravity or inf jumps, after that just walk to the end and then disable the hack. or just download a save, you can just search it up. and a second thing if you haven't already use a gamebad like a ps4 or ps5 controller.
