That aside though, I think you're right and to me it suggests that the Activision executives don't quite understand the industry. The always-online DRM caused some backlash and it clearly wasn't worth it seeing that it was cracked after a mere day.
Just makes no sense, its not even one of their huge blockbusters like COD here, and I fear Activision will use this as an excuse from releasing any future Crash games if it sells poorly even though if it does it's because of their own failings, not only with online drm but only on battle.net
