N.Brio Boss Glitch

I've encountered a problem when trying to fight N.Brio. During the second phase where he hulks out and tries to smash you, rocks fall to the ground that you have to jump off of to get enough height to hit N.Brio on the head.

However, whenever I try to jump and hit his head I just bounce off. I've looked at videos of other people fighting the boss and I'm certain I'm doing the same thing, yet N.Brio takes no damage.

I've tried googling the problem but I can't seem to find anything about this, save for a reddit comment that mentions a glitch but gives no details.

I've verified the game cache twice, but it has found no missing files and the problem persists.

Has anyone else encountered this issue?

Yup I experienced this last night, you have to jump closer to his left shoulder very close to his head. The hitbox is incredibly off for this fight.

I had to hit his *right* shoulder (*my* left), but I managed to hit him and finished the boss right away. Thank you very much for your help :)
