How long is this game?

I'm thinking about picking this up, but i don't want to buy something that's over quickly

About 6-7-(-8 maximum?) without Time Trials relics. Whole trilogy.
Gold (better Platinum) Time trials and achievements add few hrs -> ∞ hrs.

7 hours only? Isn't this game supposed to be the 3 first CB in one game?

If do not want to collect everything you can walk. this games really easy and fast (less then 7 hrs i think). If you want 105\102\108% and "achievements collector" ofc you must play much more hours (∞)...

P.S. I m play recently CTR on PC with ePSXe emul. (both ver.s 1.0 NTSC and 1.01 PAL) as Crash Bandicoot and i cant collect all Platinum, for some tracks i have only Gold. In childhood On real PSone (slim) console i beat all PSX crash games many times with maximum outcome... I even cant do "abuse" jumps on Hot Air Skyway(gold) and some times on Papu Pyramids.

I try many hours on that only few tracks (3-4) and skipped game as result.

14 hours for main story? Mmm... Crash is not a Spyro, but still easy game. I think "main story" mean not collect any items (even in CB 2 where Gems is a part of story, you know)

14 hours only for... or cause... "jumping"? For PC port? Arhh yes, i forgot, PC newbies too use joypad sticks in platformers instead of D-pad

Some people just naturally play games faster than others, without the intention of doing so. I finished Red Dead Redemption 2 the day after release, while also doing all the side stuff. It isn't ruining the game for yourself if you're having fun, lol.

In the original game you often had to do several levels over again if you died in the wrong spot, as you couldn't always save.

Plus we just generally play stuff way slower when we're younger. At least that's what I've personally noticed. I used to stop and take everything in and I used to suck at games which resulted in constant restarting lol

Lol I'm finding that the motorcycle racing ones in 3 are giving me a hard time atm. I don't recall those being particularly annoying for me back then.

The good childhood memories make you forget all the bad stuff. I was so amazed to be riding a vehicle in crash back then that I didn't care that I had to play the level 20 times.

As a kid I had run out of space on my PS1 memory card, and I didn't know how to free up any space. So I used to play games without saving, and played them as long as I can before I had to turn it off for the night. So I've probably spedrun through Crash 2 a hundred times in a sitting just because I couldn't save lol.

I picked it up a couple days ago and have been hooked. I beat Crash 2 and 3 and have to go back and finish the first game. Steam is saying I spent about 12 hours on this, which I’ve never racked up so quickly I a game upon first getting it.

To put it simply, love the game, and I feel as though I’ve gotten my money’s worth.

depens on your skill, as newbie it can be rly long for you, but you can rush the game in like 5 hours when you know what to do and dont fail. i would say for a normal player around 20 hours, but realy funny hours! it can be up to 50 hours if you want all crystals!^^ for me i have atm 7 hours only on the warped one, so the 3th game and im not done with all lvls atm cuz i try to get all boxes to at same time. and to get the time crystall on the best time will be take long to^^

I swear either the controls aren't exactly the same or they made the race harder xD. I think I've failed like 15 times on the 2nd one already.

20 hrs each probably just gems and crystals maybe an other 10 hrs each(30hrs each) or more with relics.

20hrs is a guess, took about 10-12 hrs on the 2nd crash and didnt get all the gems might have token me 35-50 hrs to compelete it with relics if i wanted to. If you never played before something like this as a kid or else you will need to get adjusted and it might take longer to just get to the ending not even with gems. Also that 10-12 hours was me rushing through them all while getting gems, no gems care probably take 8-10 hours but would make the game take longer in the end since you would have to do the level again to get certain gems.

For comparasion super meat boy which likes to play as 'nintendio hard' took about 20 hrs~ just to compelete but it is ALOT harder and thier is more levels(the levels are typically shorter and the game is 2d)
