Hot Hint which will surely help you getting the colored gems in Crash 1

What's up,

i'll teach you a simple way to make the ''no-death'' requeriment for earning colored gems in Crash 1 a bit easier without cheating but indeed using the game system itself.

Give glory for Vicarius Visions adding Dynamic Difficult Adjustment in Crash 1, cause it's the goal for this hint.

Lets get started:

1) At the first try in a level with colored gem, which is in fact The Lost City, where you can obtain the green gem (emerald), you have to intentionally die right at the beginning, before getting the first check-point until you get a golden aku-aku

2) After that, continue the level and get all Nitrus token, once you get than, warp to his bonus stage

3) In the bonus stage, do not complete it now, just kill yourself, doing so you'll respawn near from the bonus portal;

4) Now, don't break anyother check point and kill yourself several times once again until you get a golden aku-aku once again, as the bonus portal is considerated a check point, you will be coming back right to where you came from the bonus;

5)Now, if you get in the bonus once again and kill yourself inside it or completing it, you'll return with two aku-aku. You can make the same with Tawna bonus too.

Finish the level and come back again, now to try the ''no-death'' run. You'll begin with a golden aku-aku and, once you reach the Nitrus bonus, if you have lost your masks, you kill youself inside the bonus, which won't be considerated a death, and you'll respawn with two aku-aku, even if you lose them all, completing the bonus will give you back the golden aku-aku as well.


This method works for all levels but is more useful for the colored gems ''no-death'' rule, doing it so will give you 4 hit points before you actually lose a life, as long as you don't fall off a platform of course.


THIS IS NOT A CHEAT AT ALL! You are using the standard system to help youself, this way, Slippery Climb will not be a bad nightmare, i've got the red gem on my 7th attempt using this method and the yellow gem in the Lab on my 9th.
