FK U Tiny Tiger
This boss fight I swear (in Crash 2) has the worst RNG of anything in any of the games.

moan moan whine

Haha, yeah the Jet Ski feels harder to control in this one. Half the levels I had to U-turn because I keep missing the damn boxes

Actually I've never played this fight before as I never got this far in the original Crash 2. I just keep getting stuck on platforms where I can't get away, but I think that might be due to not slide jumping as the other poster suggested, so I will try that next time.

Yeah, you'll be able to jump 2 platforms with slide jumping so in this case, you don't have to worry too much about the timing of the platforms. Just slide jump over the gap and Tiny (bless his tiny brain :P) will stupidly follow you and jump right into the gap

Very EZ level.

I do not know, these levels are easy (some levels not) :D I end story line Crash 1, 2 and 3 in 8 hours (without gems and relics) :D

Actually overall, to me it seems much easier. I never beat Crash 1 as a kid, this time around I beat it in about 4 hours (just the levels, not 100%). It's just this one boss that I find particularly annoying because it's more random than the other bosses.

I assume you have the most trouble with the falling platforms because outrunning Tiny shouldn't be an issue.

Practice slide jumping over those large gaps and this boss will be a whole lot easier

While we're on this topic, does anyone feel that Crash 3 N Gin is easier than the original?

Ahh, can you jump 2 platforms with slide jumping? I hadn't thought of that. I played Crash 1 for hundreds of hours as a kid but I barely ever played Crash 2 or 3 so slide jumping isn't part of my muscle memory quite yet.

The platforms in the remake fall later than in the original. First 2 red blinks take roughly the same time, but the last blink/ last series of multiple fast blinks takes longer so platforms collapse later. You can't enter this fight with the mindset or replaying a fight of the original. Gotta relearn the timings. I was pretty frustrated at this fight as long as I was trying to just leave stuff to my muscle memory. But it's perfectly doable, everything is clearly telegraphed in this fight, just gotta use eyes and ears instead of long-term memory :D

@Captain Kirby, I thought so about N Gin as well. I think it might be because of more vertical space to dodge gatlings. You have WAY move movement in this fight now. Or it seems like rockets are more eager to enter your shooting trail I barely ever had to deviate my aim for rockets. Or maybe Coco's spaceship is more responsive. Thankfully the sky vehicles controls are in the bucket of the "improved alternative controls" contrary to for example Jet Ski.

The only boss i really had trouble with was ripper roo in the first game cuz of that damn perspective. 20 lives straight to 0 just on that one boss lol.

I also thought Pinstripe was annoying because it's not immediately clear where you are or are not safe from his gunfire. Once I figured it out it was easy but there were a couple deaths where I thought I was in a safe spot but nop.

All right, beat him. It was a combination of needing to slide jump sometimes plus needing to use the d-pad to not screw up jump direction.
