Crash 2 - Hangin' Out No Crystal?

So, I've gone through the level 6 times. 6. TIMES.....

I even found the secret in the level.

But the Crystal, is literally nowhere to be found. And I know I can't miss it whatsoever. ITS BIG PURPLE AND ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GLOWS.

Does anyone else have this issue?

When you fall down there's a checkpoint crate and the crystal is to it's left. It's the same area where you run backwards to find the secret level.

I think most people miss it on their first time through, but this is the first time I have ever heard of someone playing through the level six times and still not finding it.

I beat this game multiple times as a child in the 90's and I couldn't find it in the remake after playing through the level twice (found the secret area on the first try), this is definitely an issue with the remake and no one hear should feel bad.

literally just did this mission yesterday, got the white gem for all the boxes, but no crystal. i seen it the second time around tho, not sure if it wasnt actually showing up or it may have been just blending in so well that i didnt see it.
