PS4 Controller not working

Tried pluggin in and out several times, steam recognizes the Controller, other games working fine with it.. First a game window which was 4x larger than my screen is and now this.. Seems to be "very good" optimized so far

This game is extremely optimized. Something is wrong on your end. Google it to figure it out.

I'm using a Ps4 controller and I have no problems. It's your end buddy.

I cant use my ps4 controller either, just install ds4, then you can use your ps4 controller for games that only support xbox controllers. Thats what I'm doing anyway

After few setting changes it works now. But sry, i cant speak about extremly good optimized when a game starts in 4k with a window 4x larger than my screen and wont recognize a ps4 controller from start when even the dumbest trash games do so - and Crash Bandicoot is original ps4 game! And i dont even mentioned the amount on people which have/had the same problems.
But at least, the game runs good and the jumps in C1 sucks hard like at the original did

How exactly did you fix it? I have the exact same issues. After fixing the resolution, I still can't use my PS4 Controller...

Upper left corner -> steam -> options- Controller. Try various settings, should work at some point.
If not look if there are options in your system settings of your windows -> hardware.

Check the controller settings. Maybe try uncheck every option, try big picture mode. Did you use google for a solution?

i know its been a lot time since last comment, but i changed a something and it works, but icon's ingame are for xbox controller not for ps controller

I don't know why you don't use the mouse and keyboard. Plays well. Buttons are responsive. Especially playing on a mechanical keyboard. My timing and jumps have improved over controllers. Which their cheap ass rubber things. Seriously, though. Mouse and keyboard work wonders

If anyone still needs help, make sure under controller settings you change “PlayStation controller support” to enabled. Mine for some reason was set to enabled in games w/o support. Changing that fixed it for me.
