I can't Slide/Crouch at all LOL

it does not matter what i do i try changing the keybinding from one to the other but no matter what i do i can't crouch at all.....its a little annoying but other then that....at the begining intro and the map of Wumpa islands before i changed setting the screen got VERY WHITE....is that just me ? or does my graphics card really suck that much
