Level 2 Black Screen

Uh, I played through level 1 alright right in Crash 1, but the second level is just a black screen.
I can go into the pause screen it isnt frozen or anything, but i can't play the level.

Same thing is happening to me except with every game and after the tutorial. Can click on the level and itll load but than hang there on a black screen that I can pause on so it cant be frozen.

i just reinstalled it and it seems to have worked so far

just resolved the issue, not sure if it will help all, but I renamed the folder where steam and games are to a shorter name, might be an addressing issue. e.g my steam and games were located in
C:\Users\blackHAWK\Desktop\STEAM-WARFRAME&DOTA\Steam.exe
i then changed it to
C:\Users\blackHAWK\Desktop\steamSSD\Steam.exe
and relaunched my game and issue seems to have gone away for now. hope it helps someone

just switched the file back to previous address and recreated the issue, so definitely an addressing issue
