Subtitle/Caption Support - Lack of Accessibility, Activision!

I know the cut-scenes aren't exactly that long, but I'm disappointed that there isn't any subtitle support for this game. I understand why it didn't have them when the games were out on PS1 since accessibility wasn't a huge thing back then, but if there could be an update, or even mod support to allow for subtitles during cut-scenes, that would be super helpful for those who are hard-of-hearing, or for those who don't know English as their first language.

It's a little bit disappointing. I've done my best to try and contact the appropriate pages on Facebook and Twitter, to no avail. I can't find a support contact that will respond, so I thought I'd make a post here in case there is somebody lurking that can pass the message on. Accessibility is so important and I'm trying to push for subtitles to be added to the game.

I've opened a support ticket with Activision in the hopes that this will be escalated further, because I don't think there are any staff members monitoring this community hub yet.

As a hard-of-hearing person myself I appreciate any additional efforts made to contact the game team. I have already attempted to get in touch with the devs myself from when the game was first released on the PS4, but no reply so far.

Absolutely, I'm hard-of-hearing myself, but accessibility support has always been something I've fought for strongly regardless. I tried to contact them when it first came out for PS4 (Even though I don't have a PS4 myself) and it resulted in nothing. Now that the PC version is out, there's another option to contact support, so I've got in touch with them again and I'll hope for the best. At the very least, hopefully we get a mod for subtitles. Best case scenario, however, we'll get official subtitles. I contacted Activision regarding this and they said my suggestion would be passed on, which in my opinion, means it's going to be flat-out ignored. They wouldn't have seen the petition on it, because it has now unfortunately been closed.

They would have the script for the dialogue, adding subtitles really wouldn't be that difficult.

...sooo...are the subtitles there yet? Did they add them, or is it still in the air?
If Activision/Vicarious Visions didn't do jack thus far to improve this, are there, at the very least, maybe some fan mods/workshop items that "fix" this HUGE mistake of Vicarious Vision's?

I've tried contacting them quite a lot of times, to no avail. The first couple of times, I was told that they would "consider" it. After that, none of my emails were responded to. The game doesn't even have as much dialogue as Spyro does, so there's no excuse to not add subtitles for this game, personally.

its a problem of 99% of videogames and software. Decades to have a dark mode in windows and fonts size change keep being trash. But things change, slowly but, changes, watch it hopefully... Im afraid that not in this game yet.
