HDR for PC version
The Console versions of Crash both have HDR, can we get it on PC too? seems to make no sense why it's left out on PC, especially since it was just patched into PS4.

So does Xbox One X & HDR as well.
well if it was patched into ps4 due to high demand assume they'll do the same on pc in the future if people demand it enough :P

We get 60fps. But I know what you mean, HDR support on PC is spotty at best but there aren't many true HDR monitors available ATM.

Just use reshademe, and use there fakehdr, I actually prefer it over hdr in other pc games that have built in hdr/

yup alot of the pc games that do have hdr are ♥♥♥♥ and are worse to console counterpart for hdr alone in some cases hdr on pc is great an example is shadow warrior 2 that looks great with hdr so does ac origins also i dont like hdr for ac origins at night coz it seems a bit to bright xD so i use sdr for that

Do you understand you need a monitor or television (ideally with up to 1,000nits) with HDR to see true HDR? It's not just color saturation or post-processing ...

its also not just brighness/nits you need 10bit panel and yeah its colours aswell its all them together that makes high dynamic range

I just confirmed with my HDR monitor that there is not HDR support for this game right now.

HDR seems like a fad that will not last long

I fear that till it gets accepted for good on PC, they'll have come up with a new standard already. Hence I hesitate selling the monitor I have for a HDR version that may be inferior in everything else.

a monitor with hdr won't be inferior for everything else visual wise because they need to hit certain things to be the standard of hdr example they need to have a 10bit panel you probably use an 8bit panel and obv a 10bit panel is better you will also have better peak brightness with 1000nits and better colours due to having a 10bit panel the only downside to getting a hdr panel is if you are using it for gaming and it could have 10ms input lag but there are still hdr monitors which come close to the 1ms response time as other great monitors, also just because you have a hdr monitor it does not mean it is only for hdr it will perform better than other panels for sdr aswell in image quality and colours I know I have a HDR panel and have used ips SDR panels a lot

All this talk of HDR monitor's, because TV's with HDR don't exist & you can't plug them into your PC. People in this thread acting like it's the 90's.
