Honestly, not holding any hope for it. gonna just plug into the TV for this one
Sadly, no. No 21:9 support and max FPS is 60. Tried forcing 3440x1440 but you get black bars on the sides.

I shared a bunch of gameplay videos at 4k/60 and 4k screenshots here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/731490/discussions/0/1729828401663798086/

I refunded it, thank you!
I think it's unreasonable to pretend uncapped framerate and/or 21:9 in a remake from 20+ year old games, but whatever. I usually defend these types of requests, but in this case it doesn't make much sense. Levels are usually straight corridors and the level design was never made with 21:9 in mind, and I honestly don't think this game would benefit from 144 FPS.

Absolutely fair - I never expected 21:9 support, but it would have been a nice bonus with how gorgeous the game looks.
Framerate can't be high enough. Any game benefits from it, it gets smoother and smoother. There is no reason to limit that for 3D games.

No ultrawidescreen I understand since every single level would probably have to have been reworked.

Agree with Thurbo, this is no reason to cap FPS for any game period and there is always a benefit to higher frames in how the game feels.

No ultrawide is a shame because the boundaries to the levels are beautiful and I would love to see more of them. A rework to the levels wouldn't be needed, they already widened the aspect ratio, the originals were 4:3 and now we have 16:9 and it just means you get to see more of the level boundaries vegetation and background.

Yeah there was a mod shorty after launch that enables it and it works great.

This is a remake of console game that uses game variant of video standards -- NTSC or PAL. 24\25\30 and doubled for games = 48\50\60 is enough. Too fast fps can make game too unstable... well, or too fast.
