VR
This game needs VR Support!

If you have a VR headset and want to know what it's like to play Crash Bandicoot in VR, get DolphinVR and play Crash Wrath of Cortex.. It works really well if configured properly.
That really made me want VR for this remake

That sounds like it would trigger a bleeding effect.

if VV added all those fandom-suggested features the game won't even work on a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ NASA computer

Yes please!

It's a third-person 3D Platformer (sometimes even 2D). VR is the last thing that is needed. Or possible, for that matter.
Not everything needs or even would be good with VR.

How would this game benefit from VR?

Luckey's Tale was really good with VR for a platformer... ;)

That defeats the whole purpose of VR

Even as a VR owner

Then it wasn't VR, just a platformer with an unrealistic hardware requirement for that kind of game that didn't even add anything.
I know this is old but anyone who says that this game wouldn't benefit from VR has never experienced proper VR. Every game does benefit from it, and there are third-person platformers made for VR.

VR turns any platformer from being something you see on your flat screen into seeing the world as if it was real. Imagine looking down on a Lego set of streets you built, and you are able to steer a Lego figure through it with a controller, while being able to look at the whole thing from any angle by turning your head. This is what it is like to play platformers in VR, and it's awesome.

That's not how it works. VR is obviously an optional feature and if it's not enabled, it won't affect game performance.

VR is instead of controlling the character, you are the character. First person games or building game can greatly benefit from VR but everything else doesn't really because the whole point of VR is to add to immersion.

It's like you didn't understand a single word I said. Congrats, here's the internet award for you, Sir.
Plus, you're wrong. That's not the whole point – viewing things in 3D is an equally great use case of VR. VR doesn't purely exist for controlling yourself.

I understood what you said but the thing is that your logic is flawed.
