Alright cool thanks for that. I'll have to try it then.
G'day mate
Yeah can't disagree with you there, personally would of liked the event to be a week long and less grindy, or two weeks long at a push.. But a whole 4 weeks of it is just tiring if you want to stand a chance of being in the top 5%, and for those that work or away a lot it posses as a problem.
I will probably put that track away until i'm done with the rest of Oxide's time trials as i have finished only a couple of them for now.
I finally managed to beat Oxide on Dragon Mines. What I did for the turn was turbo boost into it, let go of the gas, bounce-braking till your facing the right way while going up, and floor it. Keeping the Super Turbo Boost from the turbo pad is wonky as hell though. I barely made it when the STB failed to work on the 2nd and 3rd lap.
I was also using Tiny in the classic kart (compared to the rest which was Penta/Ami in the rocket car). I don't know if it actually works like that, but it looks like that setup might have a smaller collision box, so less likely to scrape yourself along the turn.
1. Is there anything missable or is only available for a limited time?
2. Is there a way to get the retro skins?
3. How hard is completing the game compared to getting three stars on 200cc in Mario Kart 8?
2. As far as i know - no
3. Depends on the difficulty you chose. On Easy you don't need to know anything about this game and you will still win majority of races on first try but on Hard you need to know the mechanics well.
Actually.
1. The Grand Prix stuff you miss will actually appear in rotation later on. No idea about the Champion Kart and it's decals, as you have to actually earn those. Electron skins are a download code, and certain skins are in the Oxide Edition.
2. That's PS4 only.
3. The only truly difficult things would be the platinum relics and Oxide times.
