Im agree with you, mostly. Bash - not a perfect game. Also not as good as possible remake (even if they make it same quality as CB-NST\CTR-NF). Even CTR must be *trilogy* as well and contain all Crash racing games.
Other party-games in series - mob... emmm handled games, as im remebmer. So even combined - not good. Not profitable, i think.
But all other platforming games can be enjoyable for us (especially on Steam), and profitable for publisher. Not only WoC and Twinsanity (with new all old content), but even old CoT\CMoM - if devs change design and maybe some more elements. And make it like NST - 2 in 2 or trilogy or all-in-one.
Also Activision must give access to original games in PSN\etc. More buyers for consoles and on PC too (PSN contains original images - useful for PC\consoles emuls).
I don't think I played Bash, though I played the DS version, Crash Boom Bang. I assume they were similar, except one's on ds and the other's on ps.
In an ideal world, they're working on remastering almost every single Crash game and will release them one per year. But I highly doubt it unfortunately :(
