On Stormy Ascent level you can jump down in 1 or even 2 places - little short cuts for moving ladders.
Just buy this on humble btw so need to assess that again.
In remake of Crash3 Relics still require skill. First Crash do not have any abilities and almost(!) not have level designs abusing. Crash 2 have abils but most levels do not require them too much.
So Crash 1 and Crash 3 - same difficulties. Some levels very easy for Platinum, some - very hardest. In first Crash you must just run and jump (carefully, find right temp for platforming) and collect all Time Boxes.
Warning about PC version: Make sure you have 50-60 fps. Too fast can wrong speed up game at all (obstacles, physics), too low may affect Crash moves more than timer.
That'd be my order from most difficult to least difficult.
