How to get it?

Why the heck can't I get a bloody neutral to convert?!? I followed it around for 3 minutes and it never converted, while I can hear the enemy converting like religious fanatics in a field of sheep! Is there a command like RMB or Space to "DO" it?!? Tutorial is bloody fine, but can't convert in anything but Custom: 1-enemy and ZERO everything else....
