Will this play without the launcher running?

Hi: I'm just wondering if this game will run without needing the launcher once it's installed. Thank you.

Hi ReginaRC,
Verdant Skies doesn't have a launcher. If you're seeing one, something very fishy is up.

If you're talking about Steam- Steam does require that it keeps running when a steam game is playing. We do have a non-steam version of the game available on Humble Bundle and Itch if that's important to you.

Thank you for the info. I will look at Humble Bundle then. I do have some games I've purchased via Steam that I can play without having the Steam client running in the background. Thank you again.
