Seed Chest won't upgrade

So I've gotten to the point in the game where

1) I can upgrade my storage units

2) I REALLY need to update my storage units.

I've managed to successfully update my fridge and my backpack, but while my seed chest SAYS it updated, it did not in fact update. The first time I wondered if I was crazy (HAD it updated and I just wasn't aware of how many spaces there were?! That didn't seem possible, and yet...) so I waited a while and then updated AGAIN. This time it was pretty easy because my seed chest is almost full, and yep, still no more spaces.

Not sure what is going on with this.

Hm, try quitting the game and relaunching it and loading your save.

The player's inventory, the refridgerator, and the seed chest all start at 20 slots. Each time you upgrade them they grow by 5.

At the base level, it will be 4 rows. When it's fully upgraded it should look like this: https://i.imgur.com/NSsKryK.png

It seems like it working for me, sorry I'm not sure what's going on. Reloading the game is my best idea right now.

I actually seem to have 3 rows, not 4 rows, so I have even fewer than I'm supposed to at base level? That really weird.

I quit the game entirely (shut it down) and reloaded it, it's the same.

I don't have any mods or anything.

I guess one thing to point out is that it only draws as many rows as it needs. So if you start off you only see this:

But as you get more seeds, you get more rows:

On a fresh save, it does go to 4 rows:

So I think you just need to keep getting more seeds so you can see the whole thing.
