But i personally think, those guys are just waiting for 75% off deal or something like that,so that they can buy it very cheap.
And, some other guy went on the CS:S game hub and ranted about how much he hates it and how much he dosn't like it and called it bad.

stop defending the lazy, the cheap, and the stupid.
ONE VERY IMPORTANT ASPECT of a GAMER: the ability to adapt to change
being stuck in your ways for 13 years while the rest of the world has moved on and calling your lil nitch that shrinks everyday THE REAL WORLD is the opposite of adapting to change
end transmission
CAN'T TELL IF STUPID^ OR TROLLING^
"because blizzard can control its fanbase and valve can't and sorry no games live on forever" Controling your fanbase makes no sense...They released the games for people to play...This isn't COD where as soon as a new one comes out everybody abandons the old one. Especially since people would want to see what it was like before the newest one. If the games are that good then theres no reason to "ban" the other ones....Going by your logic: We should take out all of the games that people bought with good money and take it back and make it impossible to buy it because a new one came out (wtf?).
PS: Games do live on forever...If their that good (Counter Strike [1.6])
"Look people need to learn that cs and css are dead. If I were valve I would ban these games from steam. The only real problem I have had with csgo since the last patch is there simply aren't enough people playing it. I mean seriously why are there 2.5 times as many people playing a 15 year old game? Because they can thats why. Its essentially free and easy and people don't like change so we need to force it on them. Valve is the only company that just can't get a hold on its community. I like liberal values but sometimes people just need to be dragged kicking and screaming into the third millenium. RANT COMPLETE."
Stellarcrete
This is the stupidest thing I have ever read. It's called freedom of choice.
fact: you can only play one game at a time
fact: two versions of a game are not equal and one must be better than another
fact: by playing the older versions you are saying that csgo is not the better version, YOU ARE WRONG
THAT is logic, next ranter about how CS 1.6 is amazing pls step up
2. CS and CS:S are predecessors that some people really enjoy, and effectively are the same game with different graphic levels, a few more Multiplayer options, and better physics.
3. There are plenty of examples of games that don't shut down support for games after a newer game comes out. The entire Age of Empires line, Battlefield, Call of Duty, Half-life, Halo, etc. Basically, No company shuts off support for their games unless they're going out of business or it is simply a money-pit (ex: APB, which has been closed, reopened, and made F2P).
4. Valve gets use out of their programs. Much like TF2 has become a testing ground for coding and features, CS:S has a long-lived creative Open Source community that provides developers with much needed insight into the wants and needs of gamers.
5. CS:GO is new. Like, brand new in terms of Valve games. Conversion takes time. They've had servers for these games up for over a decade in some cases, another few months won't cripple them.
6. Steam/Valve aren't ♥♥♥♥♥. They're not going to force people to upgrade a game because it'd be convenient. That's not how the industry works. Paying for a game means you are paying for the company to support the software you are purchasing. Failure to provide services for goods is a betrayal that most consumers wouldn't make the mistake of repeating.
7. Consumers aren't stupid, contrary to common belief. People don't buy what they don't see as useful, entertaining, or necessary. Products are meant to fulfill a need. If the need for a Counter Strike game is already satisfied, and CS:GO doesn't provide their interests with enough reasons to buy the new game, they won't buy it. Which is completely understandable in this scenario. Besides competitive play, and a graphics update, what has CS:GO added to its' predecessors?
8. This leads into my final point - People don't want to be locked into a 90 minute commitment. Life happens, and they can't always sit at a desk and play for over an hour. If they agree to, and end up kicked, they're punished for prioritizing reality over pixels. Competitive play is meant for a specific group of people, not the casual masses. If this sounds specific, it is; see following point.
9. Lets be honest about what this thread is: Another player upset about the extended queue times, and not truly interested in bettering the gaming community. Their concern is their own convenience, no matter how many other people are hurt or offended in the process. A word for "a person who is utterly intolerant of any differing creed, belief, or opinion." is Bigot.
OPINION: (game) is better than (game)!
FACT: You are trying to pass this^ off as a fact
For the record though, I do prefer CS:S to GO. No real reason, it just feels better for me.
It wouldn't be fair for valve to just "ban" 1.6 and Source off of steam just because they release a new game.
And as we all should know.. CS: GO will never be as popular or more popular that 1.6 and Source for a while. CS: GO was released ealier this year, 1.6 and source had been out for years so far.
