400 DPI?

I've set my WIndows sensetivity to 6/11, my in game to 1 and my DPI to and my crosshair moves about an inch on screen per 5 inches on my mouse mat? How does this work?

I think you can set "use raw input" in the game options. Then you just have to set the sensitivity in game to whatever you like.

Increase your sensitivity or windows sensitivity or dpi.

I'd recommend maxing dpi, 6/11 and adjusting only the sensitivity.

800dpi has been my sweet spot for along time now. If you have polling rate options for your mouse, set to 1000. If you really want to remove mouse accel you should search online for a registry fix for windows 7/8 etc. That will remove from OS and I've noticed a difference.

In csgo I use 800dpi, Polling 1000, in game sense 0.65. Every month or two try lowering your in game sense by 0.5, it's helped me a lot!

Most players seem to use anywhere between 300 and 800 DPI and have low sensitivity overall. I personally use 400dpi. High DPI advertisements for mice is pretty much a con but people who don't know better buy into it.

I use 2000, just what I'm good with. I've tried lowering it but couldn't get used it.

I use 1800 with a 2.25 sens. Everything lower than that is just too low for me. But i might try a different setup in the near future.

i use 800 dpi for ak and smg... 400 dpi < toggle on my mouse for snipers.. and 1 mouse sens in game settings

DPI?

For a gift, I got a taser abyssus mouse. Being new to gaming hardware, I was confused by the "DPI" switch on the bottom. And there's another switch there as well, which is kind of like the left hand gear on a bike, either greatly increasing or decreasing the dpi. When meddling with them, I found increasing DPI increased sensitivity. I disliked it. So I have it on the 2nd to lowest settings. But reading a guide, it said to ice ease dpi as much as possible. Should I turn up my dpi and lower my sensitivity or does it not make muh if a difference?

Edit: the second switch is hz, which I assume is hertz. This affects my sensitivity as well.

People say it's more smooth with higher dpi, lower sens instead of lower dpi, higher sens. But I'm lazy, so I didn't bother touching in-game default and windows pointer speed.

Hey everyone, i want to really get my cs go aim up a lot. So i heard that 400 is where to start. So i have a 1000 dpi mouse with 2.1 sensitivity how can i convert the sensitivity to a 400 dpi mouse? this is probalby confusing. But im trying to explain the best as i can.
