How do I get Shader-model 3.0? :)

When I try to launch the game, it says that I need atleast Shader-model 3.0 to run it.. Could someone help me with this? :)

Sounds like your GPU is outdated.

That shader model is based on your graphic card, it's not some kind of an software that can be downloaded. Just name your graphic card.

NVIDIA Quadro FX 4500, I have the latest updates, and DirectX11. Saw online that it's the same as Shader-Model 5.0, is this right?

get GPU-Z and check your graphic card, there are different FX 4500 cards

That card is designed for use in workstations and is not geared towards gaming but...still sounds like it should work. I'm lost.

do you have xp or windows 7? Maybe you should update your os.

Type "dxdiag" in your run command. Once it runs the diagnostics, at the bottom it will list your current DirectX version.
Can you tell us what it says please?

see if you have gamer OSD in your add/remove programs list, that causes people alot of issus just uninstall it if its there...its a usless tool anyway
