wheres CS:GO LAN play?

After its formal release, i still cant find a way to play with my friends without internet. My internet is now going really bad, so i desperately need a way to do a LAN play. Anyone please give some useful tips.

You can play lan.

On your computer

• Enable console key in keyboard settings.
  
• Type: sv_lan 1 (enables a local lan server)
  
• Type: status
  
• Copy down the local ip address 192.168.11.111:17015 or some such.
  
  On your friends computer
  
• Enable console key in keyboard settings.
  
• Type: connect 192.168... (type in the address you noted down in step 3 above.)

how is that ? the game is not on beta i guess, but they do still uppdate it, just like minecraft after the release they have already manage to patch that game with tons of features and still going :D

It's possible to lan via the Console, but there is no easier way to do it, like it used to be.
there is no "Lan" option in the original hud/menu :(

Please spend a day to add a Local Servers option in the menus! It's unnecessarily hard for non-savvy users to add "console" and type "connect ..."
