Paid for Game + In-game advertising = Scam
Valve your company is a scam. Advertising to me is not acceptaable. I use NoScript and AdBlock to avoid such disgusting practices. Now I have paid $15 for a game that shoves advertising in my face everytime I load a game. HELL NO! I want a refund for this P.O.S. you sold me.

It should be free to play if they're gonna shove advertising in our face.

The worst part of the in-game advertising (on map load) is that it seems to be related to my game crashing.

I think it causes the craashing too, but wwhat disgusts me most is the advertising itself. I make an extreme effort in my life to avoid ALL advertising and I'm doing a really great job of it. So guess what my expression was like the first time I saw one of these Pinion ads in my game. Yeah, I almost blew a fuse.

Pinion White Label servers. Perhaps they aren't available in your region yet.

Pinion White Label Official Valve servers. Do some homewwork before you open your mouth. Press the Play Game button and the game will direct you to them. I don't care who owns the servers, the game is serving me advertising.

Only broke ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ whine about advertisments. They have to pay for the servers somehow people. Not everything in life is free.

It's their valve servers, they paid for it and have the right to put whatever they want in to MOTD, get over yourself, join community servers then.

God forbid advertising that supports the Third Party who supplies the servers in the first place. God forbid advertising showing relevant information to the game and/or server.
God forbid advertising that does not hinder gameplay in any way.
God forbid advertising that only bothers you for half a second.
God forbid MOTD that supplies the community of the servers news and updates on the events going on.

SKaREO, you are on to something.

Though... that video is pretty annoying.

Video advertisments in the MOTD on offical Valve servers. Valve must be going bankrupt if they need to shove adverts in our face every game. Pathetic, really.

Advertisments are causing the game to crash with an error message (Application Running)
